The design work was done in our 3D CAD system which not only enabled the proper packaging of components but allowed design analysis. An example of how this works is shown here in this short video. The CAD program analysis was set up to plot curves of the suspension geometry during the CAD system movements. These were then used to refine and optimize the suspension geometry.

The Series 2 chassis utilizes Hyperco coil springs on QA1 coil-over adjustable shock absorbers with antroll-bars. Suspension is all independent with passive steer toe links on the rear. Brakes are disks both front and rear with 4 piston Willwood calipers on the front. Steering is power rack and pinion. The exhaust system is all stainless steel using 4 catalytic converters and Borla mufflers. Wheels are 17 inch Dayton wires with stainless steel spokes. Tires are Michelin 215-60-17 MX4.
